England
In 2006 I spent a week in England with my fiancée and now lovely wife, Jayne. She was born and raised outside London, and most of her family still lives there. We stayed with her parents, which meant free accommodations, laundry service and enough tea to swim in. Aren't parents wonderful? Her dad missed his calling as a tour guide as he had many interesting historical tidbits about the places we saw.
Getting There - The Airlines
I flew British Airways on this trip. Even in coach the meals and service were excellent! The flight attendants were always courteous, efficient and attentive. This is something almost every airline in the U.S. has sadly forgotten how to do.
