Chieftan of the eastern morikhuns in Kunzhan, Ghanzeg uses his charisma and outward refinement to mask a ruthless determination to weld the disparate Surk tribes into the mightiest army Llandwellyn has ever seen. Seduced by dreams of an empire by Elsaer under the guise of a mysterious nocturnal visitor he refers to as "The Benefactor," Ghanzeg has allied himself with the sadistic Zorsten in a plan to split Llandwellyn in two for easier conquest, though he plans to later eliminate all rivals.
