This is a European sized continent with the variety of land and culture expected in a place of its size. The name came from an early king of Lithorin after the return of surveyors he had sent forth to explore as much of the world as they could. Being of a practical nature, upon seeing the magnificent map his surveyors assembled from their cumulative experiences, the king declared it to be a map of "The land we dwell in." In the Lithorinian language that was transliterated to "Llandwellyn."
